Safety Engineer
What will you doing?
In this challenging position you will act as Safety Engineer during our engineering activities for large offshore constructions, like FPSO’s, MopuStor, or drilling units.
The activities are:
- Maintain awareness of the design and design processes;
- Initiate and participate in the Criticality Assessment review meetings;
- Participate in Design Review Meetings of critical components and systems;
- Initiation and development of Safety Management Systems;
- Project specific hazard management;
- Contacts with safety consultants, assistance at technical reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, API 14J Compliance, IEC 61508/61511, etc.
- Assistance with setting the design safety priorities in all design phases of a project.
- Regulations and code compliance.
- Assistance with safety plans and design safety case.
Your profile:
We are looking for a Safety Engineer with 5 years relevant work experience (in a similar position and sector of industry). Furthermore it is essential to be able to communicate in English (verbal and written). You are capable of working autonomously as well as in a team and have no objections to travel abroad on a regular basis.
The following qualifications are typical for this position:
Team-player, taking initiative, result driven, creative thinking, conversant with MS Office applications. BSc. level marine systems, process or other relevant technical background.
